Are there other nerds out there who really love homonyms and homophones? (I often won the Homonym Contests in 5th grade. You had to race to see who could get the most pairs written down before the timer went off. Can you top that nerddom?)
Take the word retreat. First, you can type it all with your left hand on the computer. (You know you’re trying it now).
Second, there are two major definitions I can think of.
a (1) : an act or process of withdrawing especially from what is difficult, dangerous, or disagreeable (2) : the process of receding from a position or state attained <the retreat of a glacier>
b (3): a period of group withdrawal for prayer, meditation, study, or instruction under a director.
This long winded geek post is to tell you I will be retreating (a) and retreating (b) this weekend in the Berkshires at Kripalu! I’ve decided that even though there is internet, I will most likely not use my computer to blog. I need a tech break this weekend to fill it with hanging out with new friends, yoga, relaxing and reading. I think it’s also serendipitious that my phone is curiously not receiving calls or texts…(annoying, yes, but I am trying to put the positive spin on it 
).
I am DEFINITELY going to take photos of the space (if I can), meals and of my girl crush/hero, Kris Carr. I’ll be back next week with a recap and to start my week of radioactive activities.
