This is what I’ve been doing for the past two days.
You know, just in case you were wondering.
Honestly, I’m feeling pretty good. Way, way better than I was expecting. Still a little flu-like and headache-y and my throat/glands are sore from time to time. I need to lay down every hour or so (if I’m not already laying down). But I’m not nauseous anymore (for the most part)! I set my alarm at 2am to drink water so that my glands and mouth got some fluids. Most of today was spent at the computer so tomorrow I’m committing myself to bed and staying there until I read a book. It’s HARD to relax when you’re not used to it. I am my parents’ daughter, I suppose – right, Mom!?
I have also been eating really, really well. I have my “Heals on Wheels” to thank for that – aka my book club. They have organized meals for me so I’ve been fed since yesterday and will continue to have a new dish every day until Tuesday next week. I love them. Tonight it’s sweet potato bean burritos, courtesy of Alyssa
Speaking of fabulous book club friends, my friend Carole Ann is devoting the month of April to blogging. She asked me to be a featured blogger for the month and I’m so excited to kick it off tomorrow! (Today if you’re reading this on Friday 4/8!) Carole Ann is an extraordinarily talented artist, thought provoking blogger and creative inspiration for me. I’m really happy she asked me and I look forward to thinking about blogging for the month of April.
Anything you’re wondering about right now? About me? About this treatment specifically? About why Pixar is SO GOOD at making you laugh and cry during their movies?
Getting back into bed to read!

Hi Stacey! Thanks for commenting
I was able to stop on Wednesday once I received the radioactive pill. Once you have the pill, I believe most doctors tell you you can stop the LID. (Mine does).
Yeah for you! Enjoy those tacos!
I’m glad you’re being so positive and (seeming) to be be feeling pretty okay. Those sweet potato burritos look tasty
How’s the book reading – what are you reading?
How long are you shut in the house?
